Start with fit
Accessories help, but fit matters first. A clean collar, proper sleeve length, and tailored jacket will show in every portrait and candid frame.
Use texture carefully
Pocket squares, ties, watches, cufflinks, and shoes can add detail without stealing attention. Choose one or two pieces that connect to the wedding palette.
Match the level of formality
A black-tie wedding, backyard celebration, and cultural pre-wedding event all call for different accessory choices. The goal is to look intentional in the room you are actually in.
Give the photographer details to work with
Set aside rings, watch, shoes, boutonniere, invitation details, and any meaningful accessories before coverage begins. Detail photos are much easier when everything is ready.
